About Us

Our family has been serving up fantastic bar-b-q in Houston, Texas, since 1964. We currently have two locations:

2911 S. Shepherd, Houston, TX 77098

1702 West Loop North, Ste A, Houston, TX 77008

As a historical side note: We are the same Demeris family who for years provided fast-and-friendly quality service at Carol's Kitchen on South Shepherd and Shipley's Grill on West Gray.

The second generation of Demerises have spent a lifetime in training (no joke!) and are committed to keeping the Demeris name #1 in Houston.

Demeris Catering has grown the last 30 years and is now the 3rd largest caterer in Houston as listed by the Houston Business Journal (HBJ) Book of Lists. We have the staff and experience to accommodate functions for as many as 20,000 people. With the advent of the catering division, we brought on a whole new line of menus. Bar-b-q is no longer our only speciality.

From "board room to ballroom, from no tie to bow tie," we will take care of any event. With menus ranging from bar-b-q and baked beans to filet mignon and shrimp brochette, we can meet all your catering needs.
